Edelbrock’s VRS-4150 Race and Performance Carburetors prove that carbureted performance is alive and well. They have high-speed/main fuel circuits split into upper and lower bleed systems for greater high RPM control. The fuel bowls have 20% more capacity plus internal ribs and baffles to reduce fuel slosh and aeration. A four-corner idle circuit with interchangeable discharge jets allows users to dial in a smooth idle when using big, low-vacuum camshafts. Adjustable intermediate fuel circuits sharpen throttle response dramatically.
Other features include:
• One-piece cast aluminum main body with square bore and Dominator flanges
• Billet four-circuit metering blocks with power valves to help optimize jetting
• Easily accessible screw-in air bleeds for fine-tuning each fuel circuit
• External idle air adjuster screws allow idle speed changes without moving the throttle plates
• External idle bypass air adjustment screws
• Floats with corner cuts and jet extenders maintain fuel flow during hard cornering and acceleration
• -6 AN fuel inlets can be swapped to either side for best fuel line routing
• 30cc or 50cc accelerator pump well (depending on model)
• 1/2-inch diameter, PTFE-coated throttle shafts
Edelbrock VRS-4150 Race and Performance Carburetors have provisions for a GM three-wire TPS mount. They are available in 650, 750, and 850 CFM versions.
